Harvest Festival 2020

We would like to thank parents for the generous donations of harvest gifts which were received into school yesterday.
To celebrate Harvest the Year 1 children, along with the Brixworth Community Church, compiled a virtual Harvest Festival service which was watched by the whole school during their daily classroom assembly. So the parents of the Year 1 children did not miss out on the enjoyment of watching their child we also shared the link with them.
After half term the Year 6 pupils will deliver the Harvest boxes to the elderly around the village. Although they will miss out on the usual cheery smiles and doorstep conversations with the elderly we hope the social distanced deliveries will bring some pleasure to them in these strange time.
