Year 6 Anglo Saxon Day
On Thursday 6th February, the year 6 children received a visit from a time travelling Anglo-Saxon! She taught the children about the weapons and amor used during battle and many of them had the opportunity to try some on. The children then took part in some Anglo-Saxon board games and enjoyed writing their names with a quill and ink. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and found many aspects of Anglo-Saxon period fascinating!
