Arrival

Parents and pupils should use the main school gates on Froxhill Crescent, the middle gate on Northampton Road (Highfield Close) and the Lower Gate which is accessed at the side of Brixworth Library, to enter/exit school. School gates will be open between 8.45am and 9.00am and 3.15pm and 3.40pm. Outside these hours access to the school is via the main school office.

For all clubs taking place in the Main Hall and sports field we ask parents to collect their children from the pod gate entrance in the school car park.

We do request that parents do not park in the school car park. However there is disabled parking for blue badge holders.

School Hours

Children should begin arriving at school from 8.50am ready for registration at 9.00am. A punctual start is important. Children who arrive after the school gates have closed must access the school via the school office.

The school day ends at 3.30pm. 

Session Times

Morning Session                     9.00am – 12.15pm

Lunch                                       12.15pm - 1.15pm

Afternoon Session                  1.15pm – 3.30pm

Pupils will fulfil a school week of 32.5hrs.

Children will not be allowed to leave the school premises during school hours unless accompanied by a parent and signed out officially. If a child is to be collected from school by another adult, we will need authourisation from the parent via a phone call to the school office.

Extended School Hours

The school operates a Breakfast Club, which is open from 7.30am until the start of school. 

Mighty Oaks is an independently run after school club, located in the Small Hall here at Brixworth Primary School. The club is open every day during term-time from 3.30 pm and closes at 6.00 pm.
