Excellence, Aspiration, Inclusion, Respect

On Wednesday the 10th of July, twelve selected pupils (including Grace G, Miles M, Isabella M, Tinzy R, Catherine P, Emilia A, Noah R, William C, Brandon M, Lewis D, Emma B and Evelyn T) went to The Stables in Milton Keynes. Over the past few weeks, every Wednesday afternoon, we wrote, recorded and sung the songs we made up. We got on the mini bus with Mr. Rayner and he told us not to sing ‘wheels on the bus’ because we are singers and that will waste our voices! Our music instructor, whose name is John, took us on a tour around The Stables before we went to the recording room. The first group to record was Miles, Grace, Emma and Evelyn’s group. Then it was the boys group: Lewis, Brandon, William and Noah. Then we all had our lunch outside. Finally, it was the girls group: Emilia, Tinzy, Catherine and Isabella. When we had finished, we all went back to our dressing rooms to collect our belongings and then we sadly had to leave. It was a fantastic day!
