On Wednesday 22nd November eight year 4, 5 and 6 children went to Courteenhall Estate near Roade to compete in the District Cross Country Competition where they represented our school. All of the children did their very best and were a real asset to the school in their determination and attitude towards their race. It was a cold day and the course was very muddy due to the recent weather so there were a few slips and slides but every one of the children ran their best and we were really proud of them. A special mention to Max H who came second, Elsie R who came third and Zephyr M who came fourth, in their respective races.
