Welcome to Brixworth CEVC Primary

Be The Best That You Can Be

We believe it is possible to treat every child as an individual and to make every pupil feel special. The structure and organisation of our school has been designed to achieve this.

EXPERIENCES BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

Surpassing the normal to reach the extraordinary

Our children have the opportunity to partake in learning activities that few schools can share.

SPORTING & ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Surpassing the normal to reach the extraordinary

In the classroom and on the sports field, our children are winners in all areas - something we encourage with passion.

On Wednesday 3rd November we learnt about Shabbat. Shabbat means the Jewish day of rest.

It starts on Friday night and ends on Saturday night when the three stars are in the midnight sky. On Friday Jewish people clean and cook and as a family set the table. Parents have wine and light the two candles that are not blown out, they let them go out by themselves.

Then Challah bread is eaten. To end Shabbat they light a special candle called Havdalah. Jewish people have over 600 rules.
