On Wednesday 15th April, Year 5 and Year 6s had fun all morning doing an A-Z of chocolate, creating silly stories using chocolate bar names and doing a quiz as well as tasting some different kinds of chocolate.
“I was so impressed with the class for almost being able to tell which chocolate is which! We also learnt some interesting facts about chocolate growing and that Hershey's chocolate has powdered milk added to it which makes it taste very different from European chocolate” Mrs Pirie
“I liked Mr George as Willy Wonka! It was great when the Oompa Loompas came out with the golden ticket winners.” Grayson
“It was great to be allowed to eat chocolate in class and try to find the golden ticket!” Max
“I really enjoyed 'blind tasting' some chocolate. It was quite easy because the Milka chocolate was so sweet. My favourite chocolate is Cadburys so that was easy to spot!” Ayrton
