Key Stage One had a fantastic day learning about our new Polar Adventures unit. A lost explorer found their way to our school looking for some help after being caught in the freezing cold polar regions.
We were very lucky to be able to use some VR headsets to explore and be immersed in this icy land for ourselves.
Throughout the rest of the day the children freed some arctic animals from icebergs, went arctic fishing and completed some gorgeous artwork. To finish off our amazing day, we worked together as a class to create our very own campfire and cook some fish (fizzy fish) and blubber (marshmallows).
The children had an amazing day and are looking forward to learning more about the Polar Regions.
