What an incredible day we had at this year’s Colour Run! From the fun warmups with Jonathan from Newman Active to the colourful finish-line smiles, it was an incredible day.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all our amazing runners who took part. Your excitement, big smiles and willingness to get completely covered in colour made the event so special. Whether you walked, jogged or danced your way around the field, you helped create a brilliant atmosphere for everyone involved.
A special thank you goes to all our wonderful volunteers. From setting up, managing colour stations, marshalling the route, cheering participants on, handing out finish medals, and clearing away afterwards — we simply couldn’t run events like this without you. Your time, energy and positivity made the day a huge success.

As your school’s PTA, events like the Colour Run are so important to us. We are a group of volunteers dedicated to raising funds to support the school and enhance the children’s experience here.
This year, the money we raise goes towards lots of valuable projects to help throughout the school, including:
- Foundation Stage outdoor area equipment
- Contributions towards school trips to help reduce costs for families
- New library books
- Bike racks and outdoor improvements
- Replacing classroom interactive boards
…and many other smaller but meaningful projects across the school
Every pound raised makes a difference, and we are so grateful for the support of our school community. Thank you again to everyone who took part, supported, donated, or helped in any way.
