On Tuesday, we had the best assembly ever! Kevin from the Northants Litter Wombles, and he taught us about how bad it is to litter! We learnt how long it takes for different litter items to decompose, and we learnt about how much dropping litter can hurt wildlife. We liked that companies changed their can holders from plastic to cardboard so that they can fall off animals more easily and not get stuck round their necks. We also learnt what we have to wear to be safe when we are litter picking. We were inspired by Kevin's assembly and used our next meeting to make some 'don't drop litter' posters.
