On Thursday 20th November 10 children from Year 5 and 6, along with Mrs Reynolds and Mrs Hope, travelled to Daventry Sports Park to compete in the South Northants and Daventry football competition. There were 18 schools competing on the day. For the morning, we were in a group of 4 and we only conceded one goal finishing 2nd in the group. After lunch, we were in a new group for the play-offs for teams to finish from 5th-8th. Thankfully, we played really well and finished top of our group meaning overall we finished 5th out of 18 schools.
We had a great day, playing some brilliant passing football and scoring excellent team goals.
The team consisted of: Lewis N, Benji R, Stan S, Isaac K, Joshua Y, Hanley B, Eden P, Samuel M, Harry B and Vinnie R.
