On Wednesday the farm visited the Foundation Stage children in school!
Farmer Ian talked to the children about the animals they had brought with them, we found out about what breed they were, what their names were and what they liked to eat.
They also taught us how to feed them with flat hands so they did not nibble our fingers!
First we met the sheep, then the goats, next the pony and finally the rabbits and guinea pigs. Back in the classroom we created a text map of our visit and were then able to write a recount of the experience. We had so much fun!
