Excellence, Aspiration, Inclusion, Respect

There was an air of excitement as the children walked into the hall to meet the amazing animals brought in to meet us by the team from Bugtopia. Every child had the opportunity to hold or touch the animals if they chose to. The children asked questions and talked with each other about how brave or nervous they were to touch the insects and lizard. In some cases, the children were braver than the teachers!

“I held a tarantula and I wasn’t even scared!” Bella (Miss Redgwell’s Class)
“It started to crawl up my arm and it felt really tickly!” Mikey (Miss Redgwell’s Class)
“I really liked the spider and the millipede. The millipede was really big but we only have little ones in this country.” Florence (Mrs Sparkes Class)
