Excellence, Aspiration, Inclusion, Respect

On Monday 10th June, our adventure began. Once we arrived, we had a tour around the building and got separated into the two lodges (Buttermere and   Derwent). After we’d claimed beds and settled in, we got ready for the first activity - icebreakers. It was really fun because we got to know the instructors and our group. Then we prepared for our first ‘official’ activity (for most of us it was outside). It was much the same all week except with different activities and more FUN! Our most successful activities were sailing, canoeing, climbing, leap of faith and the memorial arboretum . We enjoyed these because it was fun working with new people, overcoming our fears and being able to have the knowledge of what happened in the war. We all loved Whitemoor and would love to go again.
