On Monday 16th December, Year 1 and 2 created our own London city from Tudor houses we had made. We burnt them to have our own ‘Great Fire of London’. While the houses were burning we sang ‘London's Burning’.
‘I enjoyed making the Tudor houses, the hardest part was making the chimney. Mrs Reynolds set the houses on fire and we sang. After a while, the fire stopped and it was all burnt. The people who lived in London must have run very fast.’

‘The houses burned down really fast and the flames were spreading quickly.’
Jack T and Elizabeth M Yr 2
‘It was fun because we got to see fire on the houses we built and it really looked like a fire in London. It must have been very scary. The houses were made from wood but now houses are made from brick.’
Ava H Yr 1
‘It was amazing watching the fire burn.’
