Excellence, Aspiration, Inclusion, Respect

This term we are focusing on the Christian value of ‘Hope’.

We introduced the value to the children during Collective Worship this week. We have explained that hope means we trust, no matter what happens or what we go through, that things will always get better. Hope can also be about something that we wish for or want to happen.

We will be exploring Hope using the story of Noah’s Ark and the rainbow as a symbol of hope.

We will also think about our own hopes and ways that we can give hope to others.

There is a ‘Home School Values’ sheet about Hope below. It contains lots of ideas, activities and challenges that you might like to share as a family. We would like to invite the children to complete the Home-School Challenge on the sheet. If they would like to share this with us, please could you either upload a photo onto your child’s Google classroom or email it to their class teacher.

Thank you for your support,

Mrs Stiles
