Excellence, Aspiration, Inclusion, Respect

On Thursday 26th September, we took a year 3/4 and a year 5/6 team to a Festival of Rugby at Long Buckby Rugby Club in celebration of the Rugby World Cup. We took part in a number of different games, skills and drills to enhance our rugby skills and each team participated in a tag rugby tournament against other schools.
Our year 5/6 team got off to a difficult start in our first game, but went onto a number of wins to qualify for the bronze place play-off before unfortunately losing 9-8 in the last minute to Moulton. A fourth place position was well deserved.
Our year 3/4 team were imperious and won every game that they played, including a closely-fought final with Clipston and ran out overall tournament winners, bringing the trophy back to Brixworth! Congratulations to all who took part in the tournament.
