Excellence, Aspiration, Inclusion, Respect

Today we had two visitors come in and show us animals. The people were called Ben and Karen. I felt so excited to see what they had to show us!

There were 7 boxes but 8 animals because 1 box had 2 bugs in.

We went to the small hall first. We sat in a semi circle.

The Gecko

It has hair on its feet that stick onto things like branches, grass and wood. Its tail comes off if it is     getting attacked. The tail wiggles for twenty minutes so the Gecko can run away but the tail doesn’t grow back.

It is 22 years old it is a type of snake. It is a carnivore. The python eats mice and birds. They also smell with their tongue. It has heat sensors in its nose.
