Excellence, Aspiration, Inclusion, Respect

‘Today I went to the church for Remembrance day. First, we were singing a hymn called ‘Seek Ye First’. Then, Henry and Pheobe performed their poems. We sung another hymn – ‘Peace, Perfect Peace’ We then went outside and gathered around the war memorial in the church grounds. We put our crosses around the memorial and had a 1 minute silence in remembrance of all those that have died in war.’

‘On Thursday 8th of November we went to the church for the remembrance service. We walked down to the church, sat down and started. I enjoyed the poems and singing the hymns. Then we went outside, read the names of the fallen soldiers. We laid the crosses and had a minute silence. I enjoyed the service of remembrance.’
